It is the fruit of proactive administration through public-private partnerships as well as generous donations of POSCO.

* (Outdoor) 1 each for General information board and Immortal Gate, (Indoor) 1 each at the main hall, the parlor, and the dining room.

The information board includes photos of the Legation from the late 19th century, which is expected to greatly increase visitors' understanding of the original form and restoration process of the Legation compared to the current restored Legation. The National Heritage Administration specifically recognized its contribution to improving the viewing environment and public design of the Legation and awarded POSCO International a plaque of appreciation in the name of the Administrator of KHS.

Meanwhile, KHS, OKCHF, and POSCO International are also carrying out a project to support the installation of signboards for K-Shared Heritage, which is operated as a historical exhibition hall in the United States, in order to actively promote and spread the value of overseas cultural heritage within the newly launched national heritage system. It was decided to pursue expansion. Accordingly, a MOU was signed between OKCHF and POSCO International on the same day as the unveiling ceremony for the new signs for the Legation. There will be more installation at the Korean National Association Memorial Building (LA), The Philip Jaisohn Memorial House (Philadelphia), and Korean Methodist Church and Institute (New York) in the future.

The KHS and OKCHF will continue to do their best to introduce and share our cultural heritage's value more easily around the world by actively utilizing the expertise of meaningful companies to promote our cultural heritage outside the country.

Division: International Cooperation Division, Heritage Promotion Bureau / Overseas Korean Cultural Heritage Foundation
Contact persons: Baek Hyun Min (042-481-4866)
Park Ji Yeon (042-481-4867)
Kang Im San (+1-202-844-3302)
Cho Haengri (+1-202-844-3304)

Attachment 1.
